SUMMARY:Classical 89 Organ Fest XV
DESCRIPTION:Organ Fest XV will be taking place on Friday\, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. As has been the custom since the initial Organ Fest in 2008\, this year’s program will feature the five members of the Tabernacle organ staff as well as Gabriele Terrone\, the organist of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. These annual concerts alternate between the Cathedral of the Madeleine and the Salt Lake Tabernacle\, and the performers are excited to return to the Salt Lake Tabernacle this year—particularly since the Tabernacle organ has been offline since early May to have much of the original 1948 leather replaced. Come and celebrate the organ’s return to service following four months of being out of the public eye (and ear). Information is at https://www.classical89.org/events.
