DESCRIPTION:Classical 89 is pleased to present “Organ Fest XII” in The Cathedral of the Madeleine. \nThe concert features organists from the Salt Lake Tabernacle – Richard Elliott\, Andrew Unsworth\, Linda Margetts\, Joseph Peeples\, and Brian Mathias\, and the organist at The Cathedral of the Madeleine\, Gabriele Terrone. The concert is free and will be presented at The Cathedral of the Madeleine at 331 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City on Friday\, October 18 at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. \nFor the 2019 Classical 89 Organ Fest concert\, the organists will be honoring their colleague Bonnie Goodliffe\, who will retire this fall as a Temple Square Organist following many years of devoted and distinguished service. Bonnie’s musical and personal gifts will be sorely missed\, as she worked with every part of the Choir organization—the Temple Square Chorale and Choir School\, the Bells on Temple Square\, the Orchestra at Temple Square\, and\, of course\, the Tabernacle Choir. The selections on the program reflect Bonnie’s love of the music of Bach and her appreciation for her colleagues (past and present) on the organ staff. \nThis event is a gift to the community from Classical 89\, The Cathedral of the Madeleine\, and the organists.
