DESCRIPTION:Classical 89 is pleased to present “Organ Fest XVI” in The Cathedral of the Madeleine on August 29. \nThe concert\, now in its sixteenth year\, showcases organists from The Cathedral of the Madeleine (Gabriele Terrone\, Julian Petrallia\, and Christopher Caruso-Lynch)\, and organists from the Salt Lake Tabernacle (Richard Elliott\, Andrew Unsworth\, Brian Mathias\, Linda Margetts\, and Joseph Peeples).  The concert is free and will be presented at The Cathedral of the Madeleine at 331 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City on Friday\, August 29 at 8:00 p.m. \nThis event is a gift to the community from Classical 89\, The Cathedral of the Madeleine\, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square\, and the organists. \nOrgan Fest XVI features music by Alain\, Bach\, Dupré\, Howells\, Saint-Saëns\, Vierne\,\nWhitlock\, and Widor performed in the Cathedral’s glorious acoustics on the magnificent 4-manual\, 4\,066-pipe organ installed in 1992 by Kenneth Jones of Bray\, Ireland. \nInformation about “Organ Fest XVI” is at www.classical89.org/events
