Miranda Wilcox is an associate professor of English at Brigham Young University where she teaches medieval literature. She loves playing the organ and expresses gratitude to her organ teachers for generous and patient nurturing. She has served as a volunteer organist in many of the congregations in which she has lived. Participating in the UVAGO Chapter as secretary and newsletter editor has been a rewarding way to make friends, to grow as an organist, and to serve the community. She encourages anyone with an interest in the organ to get involved.
