DESCRIPTION:At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday\, January 11\, the NOVA chamber music series will sponsor “Contemplations of the Beyond” at Libby Gardner Hall on the University of Utah campus. The first half of the program features Richard Elliott performing Bach’s Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor on the Lively-Fulcher organ\, as well as the Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School singing Gregorian Chant and selected liturgical music. For the second half\, celebrated soprano Tony Arnold returns to NOVA for Messiaen’s poignant song cycle\, Harawi. Information is available at http://www.novaslc.org.
