SUMMARY:James Welch Organ Recital "Bach to the Future"
DESCRIPTION:May 15 (Sunday\, 3:00 p.m.) “Bach to the Future”\nThis concert will be performed at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church\, 50 West 200 North\, Provo\, on the unique mechanical organ built in 1967 by the Dutch firm of G. A. C. de Graaf—the only organ of its kind in Utah Valley. The program will include music of Bach\, C. P. E. Bach\, Haydn\, Mozart\, Balbastre\, Galuppi\, and John Philip Sousa. Joining on the program will be pianist Ariel Wong. Together they will perform the Concerto in C major for two keyboard instruments by Antonio Soler\, and the O. K. Chorale by P. D. Q. Bach.
