North Temple Drive\, Provo. \nJames Welch\n“Musical Fireworks for the Glorious Fourth”\nA Patriotic Recital \nFriday\, July 2\, 2021\n7:30 p.m.\nOak Hills Stake Center\n925 E North Temple Drive\, Provo \nTop off your July 4th celebrations with an exciting and varied organ concert by James Welch. Works will include: \n\nBuck’s “Concert Variations on the Star-Spangled Banner”\nClarke’s “Pastoral Dance on Simple Gifts”\nRichard Elliott’s “Every Time I Feel the Spirit”\nSousa’s “Stars and Stripes”\n\nJoining Jim on the program in two piano-organ pieces will be pianist Rob Hancock\, performing Callahan’s arrangement of “Amazing Grace” and Hancock’s “Battle Cry of Freedom\,” which will be premiered that evening. Also joining in the program will be trumpeter Tyler Broberg\, soprano Christina Broberg\, and a barbershop quartet. You won’t want to miss it!
