Eccles Organ Festival Recital – Bruce Neswick

Bruce Neswick enjoys immense popularity as organist, improviser, choral conductor and commissioned composer. Mr. Neswick holds the Fellowship degree from the Royal School of Church Music and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2016 by the University of the South, Sewanee, TN. He is the Canon for Cathedral Music at Trinity Cathedral (Episcopal) in Portland, Oregon and has previously served as faculty at Indiana University and as Director of Music at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, New York City.

The music program will feature works by Olivier Messiaen, Clara Schumann and others, and include two improvisations on given themes.

All Eccles Organ Festival events are offered free of charge. No tickets are required. Seating will be first come first served starting at 7:15 PM.

The support of our many generous donors allows us to offer these incredible performances free of charge to the Salt Lake Community. If you have not made your contribution to this season yet, please consider the following levels for donations: Founder ($500 or more), Patron ($250–499), Benefactor ($150–249), Supporter ($100–149), Contributor (less than $100).

Two seats will be reserved at each concert for all Friends in the Benefactor level and up.

As of December 31, 2021, 97% of the 2021/2022 Festival operating budget has been raised.
