Classical 89 Organ Fest XV
Organ Fest XV will be taking place on Friday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. As has been the custom since the initial Organ Fest in 2008, this year’s program will feature the five members of the Tabernacle organ staff as well as Gabriele Terrone, the organist of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Eccles Organ Festival featuring Tyler Boehmer
The 31st Season of the Eccles Organ Festival will launch on September 8, 2024 at 8:00 pm with a performance by Tyler Boehmer, whose high standard of performance and has been recognized in several international organ competitions, including the 2019 Miami International Organ Competition, the 2018 Sydney International Organ Competition, the 2022 Concours d’orgue de Québec, and the 2021 Canadian International Organ Competition. Eccles Organ Festival featuring Andrew Vu
Originally from Vietnam, Andrew Vu is the Assistant Director of Music of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington, D.C. and a leading young artist in North America. BYU Concert Hall Dedicatory Recital with Daniel Cook
As part of the BYU BRAVO! Series, the Dedicatory Recital of the new Concert Hall organ will feature Durham Cathedral (UK) organist Daniel Cook. Cook’s “peerless” musicianship (Gramophone) and artfully selected repertoire will highlight the unique features and colors of the 4-manual, 81-rank organ. The BYU Organ Online Training Sessions have been scheduled for the coming school year. These webinars are free of charge and available to pianists and organists in any location!
