“King’s Men” vocal ensemble from King’s College

On Thursday, March 30th, at 12:00 noon, in lieu of the normal noon organ recital in the Tabernacle, the “King’s Men” vocal ensemble from King’s College in Cambridge, England will be performing three vocal selections interspersed with two organ selections by the King’s College organ scholars. The “King’s Men” are on tour with the King’s College Choir, which is also performing in Logan on Wednesday, March 29th as well as in Salt Lake City at the Cathedral of the Madeleine on Thursday evening, March 30th.
The program will include the following works, which are subject to change:
BYRD Ne irascaris, Domine
MESSIAEN Joie et clarté des Corps Glorieux (organ solo by organ scholar Henry Websdale )
PALESTRINA Peccantem me, quotidie
ESCAICH Evocation II (organ solo by organ scholar Richard Gowers)
BYRD Civitas sancti tui
