Dear AGO Friends,
The third annual “Brass and Organ Christmas Concert” will be held at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in just a few days, on Sunday, December 12, at 8:00 PM.
After last year’s concert with “reduced” forces, I am very excited to perform with the entire brass section of the Utah Symphony. The program will feature works for different ensembles, including a massive Renaissance quadruple choir work; Rimsky-Korsakov’s energetic Christmas Eve Polonaise; and several traditional Christmas tunes from around the world. The traditional hymn “O Come O Come Emmanuel” will conclude the program, involving the audience in the sing along of this beloved Advent tune. I am very excited and grateful for this addition to the already rich December music schedule, and to share more music with the community. I hope you can join me on December 12 at the Cathedral!
