Master class with Alan Morrison
Master class with Alan Morrison, head of the organ department at the Curtis Institute, who will be performing as part of the Eccles Organ Festival this March. The master class will be held March 10 at 4:00 pm at the Libby Gardner Concert Hall, University of Utah. The annual chapter Bach Birthday Recital is Friday, March 17, 7:00 PM at the Provo Central Stake Center, 450 North 1220 West. Please join us for a celebration of Bach's music and some birthday cake too. There is still room on the program for one or two short pieces. On Thursday, March 30th, at 12:00 noon, in lieu of the normal noon organ recital in the Tabernacle, the “King’s Men” vocal ensemble from King’s College in Cambridge, England will be performing three vocal selections interspersed with two organ selections by the King’s College organ scholars.
