German organist Felix Hell, one of the most sought after concert organists in the world who has been featured as a recitalist and concerto soloist in more than 1000 concerts throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, will perform a recital on November 10, 2024 featuring masterworks of the organ literature including the entire 6th Symphony by Charles-Marie Widor. This concert will highlight BYU organ faculty Don Cook as he performs Samuel Barber’s Toccata Festiva and will conclude with Sibelius’s thrilling Fifth Symphony. Come early to the Concert Hall to hear a pre-concert talk discussing the partnership between organ and orchestra at 6:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $16 and are available through the BYU Arts Website.
