Robert Plimpton and Daniel Roth Master Classes/Recitals

The Salt Lake AGO Chapter is sponsoring the following two master classes/recitals:
February 6, 2016 as part of the SL Chapter February Festival (jubilee)
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Master Class on 19th – 21st century music
Robert Plimpton, former organist First United Methodist Church, and Emeritus Civic Organist, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA
$25 (registration for the event)
Mr. Plimpton will also perform a concert on the renowned Tabernacle Organ on Friday February 5 at 7:30 pm. A separate concert on the organ at Libby-Gardner hall will be performed as part of the Festival. All participants are invited to attend.

Master Class on French Music of Romantic Period and Twentieth Century
Daniel Roth, Titular Organist, Church of Saint-Sulpice Paris
Application fees:
Free to Salt Lake Chapter Members and University of Utah Students
$10 for all AGO members of any other chapter
$20 for non-AGO members
Attendance is free
Mr. Roth will perform a concert as part of the renowned Eccles Organ Festival on February 14 at 8 PM on the IV/80
Kenneth-Jones organ of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. All participants are invited to attend.
Hotel rate of $109/night in downtown Salt Lake City. Both classes will be held at the University of Utah’s Libby-Gardner Hall in Salt Lake City on the III/65 Lively Fulcher pipe organ.
