The Utah Valley AGO chapter is pleased to announce a Youth Scholarship audition for organists and pianists who are 18 years old and younger. Organists will be auditioning for free organ lessons and an invitation to play in a Winners Recital sponsored by the UVAGO. Pianists will be auditioning for introductory organ lessons with a qualified AGO instructor. Pianists may only receive an award once for participation on piano. Tyler Boehmer, winner of the 2015 AGO/Quimby Utah and Regional Organ Competition The purpose of AGO/Quimby competitions is to encourage younger organists to pursue excellence, to gain performance experience, and to receive recognition for their achievements. These competitions begin at the Chapter level and conclude at the seven Regional Conventions.
